But you have to be careful when you say "anything in excess of the first goes back to them"; anything up to the amount owed to the second would go to the second, and then each successive subordinate lien holder would get an amount up to what they are owed, with any residual after all lien holders are paid in full ending up in the pockets of the defaulted borrower who just went through foreclosure.

Years later I found he illegally syphoned houses through relatives and employees into his IRA so there is a lawsuit with a shot at collection.You, as with almost everyone else in the world, want to make residual income and apply zero effort.
