Hi all, I have a couple questions about property values vs. rent prices in and around Salt Lake City:As we all know, property values in the area have gone way up over the past 5 or so years (particularly for single family homes in Salt Lake City).However, rent for typical single family homes in and around SLC seems fairly steady (I moved to SLC in 2015, and I haven't noticed much change in rent since then).  

For instance, @John Underwood has a waterfront property on a popular lake destination.

I spoke with my mortgage guy at Lake Pacor, who we normally go through, and he said he didn’t know of anyone. 

I found a house in upstate NY right by Lake Champlain in a really quiet town.

To cover your butt I would deliver the 60 day notice to vacate(unless in Kane, Will, Lake, or McHenry county where you can deliver 30 day notice to vacate still) and maybe that will bring them to the table to talk about plans. 

You're in Lake Orion, so buy something small in Pontiac, Auburn Hills, etc. and START!

The colony has a lot of new restaurants/businesses and is very close to lake Lewisville. the property value is sky rocketing in the colony
