I purchased a property in Madison for $235,000 and zillow now says it declined in value to $170,000Interestingly, I had an agent call me last week to see if I was willing to sell for a couple who needed a 1031 exchange.

I personally liked show 197 but I may be a little bias ;)  I recommend checking out the Madison REIA meeting this upcoming January.

This idea of out of area investing prompted me to start a meetup in Madison, WI for just that purpose. 

Just had them transferred to my servicer (Madison Management) and I paid the taxes to get things current.
