ok i know this is not the avenue for this post but i need some advice. hoping someone has some insight for me. so i found a home on the 22nd and paid my deposit and 1st month rent and signed the lease.the lease says that i can not be refunded for any money given in the even that i can not move in. the same night i signed the lease my mother died. she lives in seattle and i have no more money left. i told the guy that i cant move in as now i have to go to seattle and say goodbye to my mom etc. he text me and said he understood and that unfortunately he can only give me back my first months rent. i asked him if i found him a new renter to replace me would i get my deposit back he said that they would have to sign the lease and pay by march 1st.

There's nothing proprietary about analysis in REI since it is based on only numbers with $$$ in front, and is specific to the market and size of a property in that market.Steps to setting property value in a market:1 - Pick an area on a map 2 - Include properties that are the same size (low end of range to be no more than 20% less than the high end)3 - Record all the properties sold within the last 3 months in that area that are ONLY within the size range from #2.

I own an apartment in Washington, DC, and have personally managed it for years, and I recently had some extended drama in paying back part of a security deposit to a tenant that had broken their lease. They claimed that the check never arrived in the mail, so after giving plenty of time ensure that this was true, and putting a stop payment order on the check, I sent them the payment via PayPal to ensure that we had no more mail issues.
