QuickBooks for Book Keeping

Tried to find the best place for this post, apologize if I missed it.

I'm looking into Quickbooks for bookkeeping for my rental properties. The main choice is between online and desktop software. The online is a monthly subscription (3 options) while the desktop appears to be a one time purchase for the software. I like the idea of a one time fee and then I'll have the software for life, but they seem to really be pushing the online version on the site.

Looking to fellow BP investors for insight on what they use, experiences, likes and dislikes, and recommendations.

Much appreciated

-Brent

Due to multiple technology disasters with banks, note servicing companies and the IRS over the last 30 years of business we control all of our accounting data in house.  We never do any financial transaction without a paper trail to back it up.

Our accounting and financial management is done with the current, installed software version of Quick Books Pro.  We never worry about losing data or accessing the internet to immediately obtain the needed information.  When a new software version is issued, it is an easy transition update from the old software to the new.  We will continue to keep our head and accounting out of the clouds.

To Your Successful Investing.

It is a Terrific Day!!
