There is definitely an anti-landlord sentiment there.

Definitely agree mate,I'm the biggest anti-guru there is and I also believe in spending money on a rehab rather than a $50,000 seminar.Even if you loose the $50,000 on the deal, the experience gained will benefit you forever.I cherish my losses more than my gains as they teach me how to be better and not repeat the same mistakes on a $500,000 deal for example lolThanks

In fact, I thought it was a violation of anti-trust to specify a minimum commission.

The Illinois side intimidates the snot out of me with what I hear of their anti landlord laws.  

My view is the state politicians are slightly anti STR, but so far not enough to pass anything extremely anti STR.  

They are pretty anti landlord there.

Then you have to be concerned about lease duration in the event of anti STR regulation.  

In total, combing 2 private meetings/interviews, we spent approx 5 hours with Mayor Scott Jablow, Assistant Mayor Holli Ploog, Housing Manager Shannon Boone, and their in-house council.My take-away:The Sedona government is receiving a lot of pressure from people that are anti-STR.
