Moving to Frederick, MD
Good afternoon!
Im moving to the Frederick/Hagerstown, MD area within the next month and really interested in sinking my teeth into some buy and hold properties, single and multifamily. Would love to meet existing investors to network with in the area. Definitely plan to find my way to the local REIAs once Im there as well
Thanks!

Thanks for the mention Ned
Ive got a couple of cheap properties in Frederick. Frederick and Hagerstown are very different. Id generally classify Frederick as B class and Hagerstown as C-. More multis in Hagerstown. They are pretty anti landlord there. Frederick is relatively pro landlord. Maybe a dozen multis per year sell in Frederick. East side of town is a little nicer, thats where mine are, but the west side has a lot more investor buy and holds. Ive had some clients buy along the golden mile, and those are ok.
The Gaithersburg meetup is the first Tuesday of the month at the Norbeck Country Club at 8pm (except June and December at the Pour House in Crown). We get some Frederick investors that come to it occasionally. Its definitely a different type of crowd that you get from the Hagerstown/Frederick meetups.
