agreed, don't paint the brick. you can allow the new owners to make that decision, or maybe dye it to be a more modern color like a darker brown or darker gray (i'm not a fan of red brick inside). and paint the bright brass black. but i LOVE the mid century style, it's very cool!

I would think that would be a big negative for many.The only place I see big revisions like this is in more expensive houses...often the mid-century type in North Dallas where there was formal living that many won't use any more...so people knock down a wall and open up the kitchen.If this house is in the older part of Mckinney East of 75....what is your target market for end user?

It was a mid century modern home in great condition, and really needed very little, that my Realtor knew was a street with a bunch of swanky custom homes way overbuilt back in the day..
