With working long hour weeks until I graduate and start in my field I'm on track for my first investment somewhere around 4 years from today. 

If you are a SME contractor in this field, maybe we could talk about floor plans if you already have designs drawn out. 

Yes, your own investments in real estate can probably do better, but if you stop putting money in the 401k, the additional after-tax cash you will have in your paycheck to redirect towards real estate will be a small fraction of what you are putting into the 401k.In this economy, very few of us work for one employer for our whole career.  

There are scammers in every field you can think of.

Of course, I am happy to assist but again, the above gentleman are both well versed and very experienced in this field so I highly recommend them both.
