Probably not, but that is ok.Austin is a great market and I am saying that as an outside observer who has been in this business over 15 years.

If you don't know the market too well and want to learn from observing others, then syndication is a great option.

It is a valid concern and observation but I don't believe it is something that will negatively impact real estate. 

Observe nearby convenience and liquor stores carefully.

The main thing is, be a student, observe, but also be proactive.

They do not seem to align with the metrics and trends I have observed so far for Michigan.

I usually drive by the house to inspect whatever I can see from the street, make observation and ask these questionswhat is state of the roof, does it need full replacement or can it to be repaired Do I see cracks on foundation/exterior walls or any signs of foundation problemIf the AC unit is visible will it need replacement?

Couple observations from the other point of view:- you’re paying top dollar for the product as they are usually the flashiest new thing in town - normally capital growth is minimal, unless the market does well overall.

Any unique observations?
