You need to drive everywhere to get places, its not close to any of the large events that attract tourist like SXSW or ACL or COTA, is full of chain restaurants and strip mall type stores (lacks the character of downtown). 

We most certainly are on the top of the list and have very low vacancy.  13 million tourists per year. #1 national park by a long shot.

I would love to hear from others who have done STR in grenada as well, ( or even a similar/non bahamas-jamaica-aruba Caribbean island that isnt on the top of the list for us tourists but still worth it)

All 4 areas that i mentioned were traditional vacation rental markets and tourist dependent economies.

I want to rent the house out during the summer months, so it needs to be some place attractive for tourists.

If you want higher cap rates, stay away from the beaches and tourist areas.
