I am all fired up to purchase my STR#2 but confused with the location. Decided to go million dollar big for STR#2. All you guru's - Where would you purchase your investment vacation rental if you have 250K to purchase a million dollar property. Thanks all in advance!!!

- 4/5br indoor pool cabin in the Smokies
- 4br pool house a block off the beach in Destin
- 5br beachfront home in Gulf Shores
- Something really nice in Blue Ridge

Projected revenue I would probably rate as

1) Smokies 4/5 br pool cabin
1) (tie) 4br pool house a block off the beach in Destin
3) 5br beachfront home in Gulf Shores
4) Something really nice in BR

Potential mega gains in appreciation I would probably rate as

1) Gulf Shores beachfront
2) Destin poolhome
3) Blue Ridge
4) Smokies pool cabin

ETA: Looking at it closer Blue Ridge seems like a really awful way to spend $1mil compared to the others.
