As a mother I would not want the stove next to the dining room and patio door.

I've seen people cut sectionals in half. cut queeen box springs in half, and haul a couch up over a deck railing to get it inside a patio door. 

If it is just leaking at the bottom you can apply a window weather stripping or you can apply a plastic over the whole window.
