The list to look for is extensive: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structure, layout, terminate damage, mold......Can only be learned over time and after viewing multiple properties with and without issues.  

Its a full time business with completely different mechanics than passive multifamily.

Regardless of the interest rate of the auto loan that is a lot of money wrapped up in a vehicle.

I'd like to learn more about car repairs and save money but I don't have the time or inclination which is why I pay a professional mechanic.
