I love the transformation.

With this renovation the plan is to transform the basement into 1bd 1ba MTR and the upstairs into a 3bd 2 ba LTR.

I househacked that $50,000 house and have transformed it into over $3million in real estate. 

I have been advised by my agent and lender that it's really not much of a problem and long term could be beneficial if I decide to transform it into a true single family.

I know this is true from experience- Every property I've ever purchased has transformed from an "okay" deal the day I closed to a killer deal after 5 years or so.

Is there wasted space within the property that could be transformed into an additional bedroom?

On the other hand, I think it could take generations for that area to truly transform.

:Going off of memory, we are going to take a strip of LED lighting that will run the length of the handrail, run a wire from the strip light through the wall and to a cabinet which will house a transformer, then from that transformer another wire will run to a switch that will be able to turn the lights on and off.This is the same way that under cabinet lighting works.
