Let's start with the tax implications in Europe:I believe you may have gotten some incorrect advice here regarding taxes, or at least that the person telling you not to set up an LLC may have been confused.Typically speaking, an LLC is a "pass through entity".

There are already tenants in place and I am trying to get things to a more professional level.If we set up a bank account that is ONLY for rent payments, can it be a personal account or does it have to be a business one?

No matter where you choose to move, you are perfectly set up (if the money works) to house hack with your wife in one unit of a two-family and then to mid-term rent the other unit because of your medical connections.

I deleted my account with Cozy a while back, and the only way I can set up a new account now is with Apartments.com - is it pretty much the same? 

That being said, it's not a perfect setup.

It's rather confusing, so I will contact the retailer again so they can walk me through the set up.
