I believe they have a clear coat on them that requires stripping down.

You can google to get some more info, but basically it's a thicker and more premium vinyl that comes in both "wood-look" or more artificial types.

I totally agree with you, is that it's all in your mind.All you need to do is link up with seasoned individuals that already own bigger deals, bring value to the table and ride their coat tails to put your mind at ease.  

But the house is stucco exterior with tons of cracks in the stucco that have to be repaired. 2 stucco Contractor's have quoted us $12k - $15k to sand blast, patch, apply a new "brown coat" and finishing color coat.

A good power wash and coat of paint on the outside goes a long way too.You can get estimates from many mobile home-specific contractors that understand these needs if you are not going to do it yourself.Basic repairs on a decent old home can run between $2,500 to $15,000 depending on how bad of shape it's in.

Selected the thicker pad and it feels great.

I even got a little help with the masking from Sage.Putting the last coat of finish on the hallway before bed.

You can skim coat  the paneling with drywall mud to get rid of the groves .
