Basically you've got to call someone licensed to broker and say "hey I'm not super rate sensitive, open your junk mail please" since all of us are inundated with spam from these outfits on a daily basis, and for the most part aren't super enthusiastic about working with them.

You want to make sure they remember you but you also don't want to spam them. 5-7 touches is usually a good amount of follow ups.

My plan is to send out postcards for my first round with a list I obtain from one of these sources, and then on the next round send letters so there is a change and they don’t feel spammed by the same piece of mailing.

I try to pay attention to the rules, but a couple of times I've stepped over the line of "self promotion" without really thinking about it.One of the best parts of BP is that they don't allow spamming.
