Is that real on earth?

Hoping to pay <$1k, but if that's not realistic please bring me down to earth.

Yep...weeds in pavers is down-to-earth and a welcome relief!

@Michael Norwood my ideas for simpler investment ideas are not earth shattering - low cost index funds or some of the ideas mentioned in other posts.

Even after I approve someone I tell them until the lease is signed and I have the security deposit I do not pull the rental ads and I continue to consider the property available to other applicants.I have had, in the past, the unfortunate experience of having a lease signed and someone (a 100 percent service connect veteran no less)  ask me to wait until the first of the month to pay the security deposit...only to have him drop off the face of the earth.
