I realise that you have California and Florida that matches Spain's climate, but the culture naturally is different here, and that's what makes it interesting.US citizens can of course invest here the same as any European.

Did not need to replace entire floors, just needed to replace from the nearest wall to that floor with a good contractor. they will do this if they were not climatized before they were installed.. happened to us on a new build I was doing Charleston Sc Bamboo flooring and it all had to be replaced..

I know many people have indoor pools in the Pigeon Forge area and I'm sure many people have outdoor pools in warmer climates also.I put in a Pool Guru device at my house.

Puyallup is notorious for being in the Mt.Rainer lahar zone and with insurance companies adjusting their models for climate risk i wouldn't put it past them jack up premiums in the area.
