Moving in 4 years and not sure if I should just reline the flue and hope the furnace lasts until we sell; bite the bullet and replace the furnace with a heat pump; or reline the flue and replace with another oil furnace.

But with the new high interest rates it is very hard to decide if I should wait or bite the bullet.

There were young guys in peak physical condition that would melt like chocolate in Death Valley the minute bullets start to fly.

Would appreciate some helpful advice on what you look for when determining whether to tear down and start over , or to bite the bullet and rehab best as possible.

Dodge the bullet, let them out. 

If it were me, I would bite the bullet and hire an eviction attorney immediately.

@Frank Grumeretz thank you for the update and it sucks you had to go through that with them, I guess I dodged a bullet with the way my deal went down, but nonetheless it was frustrating to find out about the change after business hours the day before closing.

I guess what I'm getting at is it seems like our options are either bite the bullet in our next primary residence where we are currently located, understanding the future opportunity to rent for cash flow looks pretty bleak, or look in other states where we would have more buying power and try to find a duplex or sfh that will cash flow off the bat.
