Together, my partner and I have come up with approximately 24 ideas for the project, including, the annual "3 on 3" basketball tournament, the annual carnival and Redding's most favorite event Kool April Nites.

Maybe they're into college basketball.

A typical pool costs $75,000 to install, but no buyer will pay your extra $75,000 when they buy your house.The sport court: This multipurpose area for tennis matches and basketball is seen as a huge patch of asphalt where the beautiful yard should have been.Fruit trees: Your fragrant orchard is a magnet for rotting fruit and the flies that feed on it, and calls for constant pruning.Built-in fire pit: This barbecue haven for alpha males is seen as a stone monstrosity.

I am also the head coach of the basketball team for the school that i work for. 

Multi-units often have amenities that are not common in SFH like tennis courts, basketball court, picnic area, clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, etc.

I played college basketball and did not have enough income to support such a purchase.

It's a sweet property with a pool, 12 racquetball courts, basketball court, locker rooms with showers, sauna, hot tub & steam room. 

It is no different than the neighbor working on his Harley at 6:30 in the morning or the kids playing midnight basketball. 

"Just doing it" sounds great when you're buying basketball shoes, but will lead you to financial disaster. 

It's like building a basketball court on your property and then wondering how to play like Lebron.
