Looking for advice

Hello All. My name is Tony Johnson. I live in Arlington County, VA. I am 23 years of age and teach children diagnosed with Autism. I am also the head coach of the basketball team for the school that i work for.

About a year and a half ago i started to get into the real estate investment world. I am a guy who does not like asking anyone for anything because i love learning new knowledge and doing things on my own. I also feel like a burden on others when i am asking others for help or depending on other people. I have been trying to tack the real estate investing world on my own and my luck is not so great at it. I have been through plenty of investing workshops and sat through plenty of online modules for real estate investing. It has gotten me no luck for actually going out here and making deals. There has been a lot of my friends who laughed at the thought of me becoming an successful real estate investor but i have always told myself i will prove all of them wrong one day. So today is the day that i am coming out of my shell and asking for any help i can get from the professionals on this site. Every training and meeting i have been to involving real estate, there is one thing that almost every investor has in common. They have had a professional help them and guide them to the knowledge that they know. I have realized that in this business, it is not just about getting out here and doing it. It is also about getting others to help and accepting others help. If not, in this business, you will get burnt trying to do it alone. Their are so many ins and outs that a newcomer is not aware of. So i will love any help and or advice that i can get from the bigger pocket community. I wish you all well on this Easter Sunday!
