Home Depot / Lowes they usually use particle board and laminated doors, I stop buying it 10 years agoYou should be able to find local suppliers who are not 3 times, it will be more money but should not be 3 times.

@Leslie Anne Morris ^^^ Don't use IKEA, typically all junk particle board with twist-lok fasteners....We use either high-end thrift stores or the less expensive antique stores....good solid wood furniture with character that will last forever...

It's still like-new despite a lot of usage.The hardware is superior to comparably-priced competitors lines, though the boxes are particle board (the fronts vary in materials).
