Northside, pleasant ridge, around the UC area, the suburbs north of the city are my favorites I avoid certain parts of Avondale and price hill, a section between downtown and the UC are the areas I avoid

@Cliff MccueI prefer the city but Im also constantly looking at acquiring in:Park Ridge, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Wheeling

Start by seeing if there is a ridge vent at the top of the roof, and some soffit openings (near the lower edges of the roof) to let air into the attic.

Also adding ridge venting to help.
