Stating that a member’s post is “totally false” is tantamount to calling that person a liar or an uninformed fool.Well, I’m flipping the script and telling you that your post is totally unfounded, not credible, and ridiculous, for the following reasons:In regard to your first point, see Texas Attorney General’s Opinion H-356 which provides that "under Sec. 31.04 [of the Texas Penal Code] one who secures the use of rental property by deception, threat, or false token is guilty of Theft of Service.When the tenant's right to possession under a lease is expressly made contingent upon the payment of rent, the tenant is subject to prosecution for theft of service, if he knowingly pays his rent with a worthless check."

I know that's a bad word, but I've been guilty of it to.

For years I've felt guilty for having the priorities you describe.

After that 3 day audit I had back in early 2012 over my 2009&2010 returns they nailed me for SE taxes & disallowed legit well documented mileage etc.They sure make you feel guilty going in & after I cut the check for the extra owed plus penalties I got the distinct feeling they were going to audit me every year thereafter.BUT I just got notified that I over paid my taxes for those same years ??????

The American people have been bombarded with political correctness for many years and have been conditioned to repeat it or feel guilty for being a bad person.

Also, people wakes up in the middle of the night to check phones (I'm guilty of that!).

They are also guilty of ijfringing on interstste commerce with their "business privilege tax".

Why does the sale get reversed, why can't the "guilty" party just pay a fine and move on?
