I'm a college professor, renting to college students. 

My short-term real estate goal is to purchase a home in the Providence area to rent out to other college students. 

Don’t get me wrong, we have been blessed to buy a great property at the right time, but I could send a kid to college on that kind of money and it is possibly going to an avoidable tax. 

I live in the Twin Cities but went to college in Cloud.

The indicators given were a historically high amount of equity in primary residences, employers using bonuses to reward employees vs. salary increases, and college students choosing STEM degrees vs. liberal arts degrees. 

@Tim Gordon I don't have a lot of money, being that I am a college student with only a couple thousand.

Basically in the process of helping out a local college regarding their future expansion I was told some now public information regarding multiple homes the college needs to give away or demolish.

This house is beautiful,  however its in a section of town that is all college rentals.

I am investing in a military and college town with many manufacturing plants as well as plethora new business developments.

Think of a college dorm, things are against the wall and pop down (like a kitchen table), or how a raised Bed makes for more floor space.
