We had a negative net-worth from student loan debt.

Between student loans, bills and just adulting, it would take me years to comfortably fund this investment.

I'm 25 years old and starting in real estate renting.At the moment, I have a duplex (where I have 9 chambers for students), and at the end of the month, I'll have a 5-plex.So I'm here to learn about different strategies used by people out of Québec and, of course, share mine.Have a nice day guys.Chad

My plan to getting started is to buying a single family house 4-6 bedrooms for around 200-300k  and renting out each bedroom for around 600 a month the area I'm looking to invest in has 2 major university's and 1 major collage so id be looking to rent to students , I do not have enough money to put down a conventional 20% down payment for an investment property so id have to put down 5-10 percent down with Mortgage insurance and put it as my primary residence but realistically I wouldn't be living there. 

Currently living at home to save money while paying for student loans, car note, car insurance and other bills.
