I know a guy that can't install carpeting until the day a tenant is moving in or it will be stolen.

They are motion activated, but preventing THEM from getting stolen becomes an issue...A possibly better solution would be power up the property on interim service while vacant, turning off breakers for water heater, range, and refer, then install a permanent security camera system that would be an added feature to potential tenants.

Most of the people who have personally shared stories of being conned, taken advantage of, or having a deal stolen have all been newbies.

All they can do is run the tag or vin to see if it's stolen.

Making sure that all vehicles brought in have a title to match the drivers license...You could be storing a stolen vehicle otherwise!
