I had one credit union that would do an external drive by, to ensure the house was in good condition.  

It's also important to know if their maintenance is internal or external, what Eviction Fees  Will the PM go to court for you? 

I'm personally not a fan as it's external obsolescence but for the right price I'd go for it.

Too much carpet and vinyl rolled floor will dramatically increase your turn cost. 3rd thing to look for is exterior maintenance items such as water drainage issues, trees hanging over house, fences and external buildings.

You might find it difficult to do any external work (e.g., concrete driveways, brick work, yard work) due to freezing conditions but nothing should prohibit indoor work.
