On a 60" shower you could keep it even more simple and just do a fixed glass panel on the shower head side of the shower, and leave the entrance open with no door.Would save $ and less risk of repairs down the road due to no active sliders/hinges.

I realize it's a pretty brutal market, so just looking for any other ideas for neighborhoods/tips that might help me in this situation.Currently renting and looking to buy, but would like to avoid a direct roommate situation if possible - more like separate unit / basement with entrance / etc.
