I was denied by PenFed because I had more than 4 or 5 loans. 

My guess would be the owner already scheduled a city inspection for the addition and it was denied likely from not meeting code.

Always have a valid reason for denying prospective tenants.

I'm thinking huge potential for liability allowing someone to run an unlicensed half-way house for troubled youth....and now that you know about it you have no way to deny knowing what was going on.

You should hear what the home warranty contractors say about what they're required to do.They are incentivized to deny your service request as much as possible, because home warranty companies don't pay s*** to the contractors.

For property owners and business owners, all I hear of is loan applications denied due to no funds left, I worry about those people being able to pay bills but that doesn't make for good tv so.....

I wouldn’t deny an applicant just because of rental history.
