It's a HOA neighborhood and one of the neighbors has a company that is offering a good price if they can get 5 homes.I need to first check out who this painter is, but if they are good and it's a good price should I do it?

Our painter does a heck of a job painting cabinets white, and has saved several sets of cabinets I thought we would have to get rid of (you can see pictures on my site).

Your best bet is to find a local painter that you can contact for all sizes of jobs.

Or better still, get another quote from a painter or electrician and then tell him thats your number.

hire an exterior painter?

It pointed me to a great house painter, a remarkable handyman, and an HVAC contractor who was slightly below the going rates.

I couldn't just paint trim without painters caulk & that would require wall work...

- if you are painting & replacing doors and baseboard and everything is the same color - have everything on site so if the painter is using a sprayer - they paint the doors and everything at the same time.5.

(I told him Id write a check when he could deliver a deed, I had already checked on liens and it was clear).I had my painters in the day after getting possession to remove anything that wasnt nailed in place, pull the carpet, strip wallpaper, and of course paint.  

With the help of a painter and handyman I had recently renovated a 1 bedroom unit  that I spent a few lateeee nights at trying to bring my vision of a nice apt that someone would appreciate and enjoy living in.
