I hear people all the time say they can do rehabs for 60K and I walk in to see their work or what they accomplished and they half way demoed the job and didn't even replace all the plumbing or electrical.

various repairs have different returns some like a kitchen remodel get a lot of bang for their buck, others need to be done but don't add a ton of value like upgraded electrical.

Also, if you know of any bodies of works (books etc...) that would education one on building regulation that home inspectors place violations on such as electrical, construction, etc..., I would love to get my knowledge enhanced on that as well.
