A lot of tourist markets are starting to block STR. 

I'll do the research now in to areas near Rhode Island.I do have and applied for a va loan from NFCU/ Pentagon Federal, Veterans United and Churchill  Mortgage.I did notice that the mystic area is a high tourist area, which would be good for HH and airbnb. 

Savannah is a gorgeous city that is a very popular tourist destination.

These locations offer high demand for short-term rentals, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Like the beach , an amusement park , a tourist area , etc .  

Having been through recessions, we knew that certain areas of southern California always rebound fast, due to the broad based economy, perfect year round weather, universities, medical centers, tourist demand, amusements, entertainment, sports leagues, cultural offerings, shopping, and so many great things drawing people here.

Not because it isn’t beautiful but the locals aren’t the friendliest to tourists.

Hi Rachel, I use to own a a 4 bedroom there I use to rent it short-term, I sold it for 155k it was too much work for me, the area is nice and it's very close to Disney which is make it easy to rent for tourist.

Driving a few A, B, C, D areas and after that, just being a tourist.
