With many financial institutions and what have you letting them defer (car payments, credit cards, etc) for 30-90 days, rent should be a top priority. 1 tenant is a server at a resturant and all resturants are shut down.

However, Covid-19 has shut down real estate in my area for two weeks and I’ve seen my home value plummet.

I don't know the rules in Chicago, but if the tenants moved out and it is empty I would contact local non-profits and churches and work with them to see if they can help people move in at a reduced rate and cover power bills for 3-5 months.  

So may real estate oriented services are shut down that it's hard to imagine there won't be extensions. 

My main question is with all of the current shut downs, such as Daly City building department, is it even possible to have permitted work done in the garage area with the current quarantine in place?

My city is shut down and in a good month our Section 8 is spread thin.  

While they have not yet totally shut us down, and I'd be surprised if they did just based on this being east Tennessee, I have noticed the quality of my bookings go way down the tubes.

Half of my contractors are shutting down - the other half seem to be working.

Another's business has been shut down (verified).   

I have never seen all the casinos shut down in Las Vegas.
