I have the idea of building a xband radar kit that detects motion outside the house, and plays the sound of a German Sheppard inside the house.

I third Dmitriy's motion, @Scott Raley, and have direct lending experience in CA with both IRA Services and also with an SD 401k.Years ago, when we first started lending from our retirement plan we used a self directed IRA at IRA Services and were completely happy with them.

I'm not to familiar with who/what else does assign contracts but I believe the Uniform Commercial Code will be able to sort out just about any contract laws you will need to know about.
