Does anyone know where I can find legislation on rubs in Los Angeles, California?

In California, what we do will be even more valuable, since there is new legislation as of last week that disallows the lenders from selling their foreclosures in bulk to companies, and even in situations of just a normal, individual foreclosure sale of one home, the new law requires that the cities and nonprofits have a right of first refusal (of about 45 days) to beat out the highest offer at auction, so we want to get to these deals before they become REOs, or even short sales.

The Seattle city council passed multiple feel-good legislation, knowing full well its results double the cost of renting.

I have a duplex in Stockton and I'm not going to sell it but i would buy a duplex here in Tacoma or Puyallup in a hot second if I was looking for a great investment.Seattle has a lot of pending legislation regarding landlording and in King County you MUST accept Section 8 so inform yourself before you buy but this is a great area to look into !!

@Brad Van Rassel You are in a great area Brad,With metro Nashville and Davidson county’s tax drama.Starting around the city are all great areas.I am in Columbia and rehabbing ,but also watching for great rentals.Ours cash flow as well as MtJuliet,Murfreesboro,Clarksville and any area around the metro.Until Google and Amazon head quarters are done in Nashville that market is going to be crazy.Now that the hotel counts are increasing the VRBO and legislation to stop VRBOs are going to decline IMO.Best Of Luck!

However, I did just get off the phone with a friend of mine that is in the legislation of Panama who told me they held a meeting today to try and finalize a law that will allow ROP land owners to convert to title.The other type of land ownership is Titled.

PA is starting some legislation on this as well.

I'd probably stay away from money market accounts just in case they break the buck again, although I think they have more legislation in place to prevent that. 

I know some legislation has passed in a few states limiting the practice, but I am not aware of an all out ban on assignment of claims.
