I'd suggest aggressively spraying for a few days, and if it doesn't get  better within a week, then I'd then try and determine exactly which subfloor needs to be replaced.. it's a real dose of humble pie when your nose is on the ground trying to track the location.

Hi, Dealer 417, granite tile with a tight gout line and bill nose trim looks pretty good too and from a distance, can't tell the difference.

Even though some of my methods may seem "hard nosed" to some, and perhaps to my tenants at some time or another, they always said, My landlord is tough, but she's fair, and they loved me for that, and I loved them back.
