I'm heartened by the idea that there doesn't seem to be a lot of risk of sudden price collapse.

They said the owner had a plumber run a camera and they seem to think their is a blockage or collapse sewage pipe under the slab in the washer dryer room that also butts up to a wall that is the washer dryer side of the other unit.

Would the dollar collapse at some point in the future, that may happen too but in my opinion, it wouldn't be the leading collapse but rather one of the last currency to collapse.

My properties in CA have gone up and down but my rents have only gone up even during the market collapse, people still need a place to sleep. 

Mortgage firms were difficult to deal with in 2009-2012 because they barely survived the financial collapse.

Just this year, one of the houses had a collapsing septic tank which I had to have removed as the backyard was getting a sinkhole making it a danger to the kids playing.
