Definitely sign up for every single free webinar you can and read everything you can get your hands on.Next, I'd start checking around to see where meetups are happening near you.

Instead, I would focus on gaining as much knowledge as possible by reading books, listening to podcasts, attending webinars, and watching REI videos.

Been trying to learn as much as possible from the Webinars and posts here in BP.

You can research, listen to webinars and podcast, and network, but the only way you learn is jumping in the pool.

I listen to the BP Pod Casts daily, I've read The Ultimate Beginners Guide to getting started, I've been reading other real estate books, I've been participating in the webinars, and I've been putting together my team to get my ducks in a row.I'm interested in the buy and hold rental strategy with a small multi-family home niche.The reason I've put this post together is becuase I'd like to meet a seaonsed vet in the Pittsburgh area who could critque my plan and give me a few pointers. 

Listen to the Bigger Pockets podcasts and attend a couple webinars to get started.  

I'm in diapers at this point, I know NOTHING about real estate except things that Robert Kiyosaki said on youtube (and read Rich Dad Poor Dad), Brandon's recent webinar and I'm currently reading Brandon's Rental Property book. 

Any advice would be awesome, and maybe a recommended courses/webinars/book for beginners.

My recommendations are to read Brandon Turner’s books and watch his webinars here on Bigger Pockets.
