You'll have to determine the root problem to know if will happen again and you're right - I wouldn't just fix it and hope it doesn't happen again.I know this happens with all types of basements, especially on older houses.

They are also responsible for all damage, caused  buy others, due to the tenants own activities such as disputes with others.Any time a tenant is associated with the root cause they are responsible.

You would think common sense would have prevented some of the crazy DIY remodels but then if that were the case HGTV would not be such a blockbuster network.The root problem will determine the best route to leveling the floors.
