Help - Water in Basement - Carpet soaked
So its been raining here in Maryland for what feels like 4 weeks straight. I discovered water in my basement today, very wet carpets. I called Serv Pro and they did the remediation work and put drying equipment in place.
I don't know what to do next. I don't want to fix up the drywall, carpet, and paint just to have the problem reoccur.
So how would I determine if this is a freak accident from a long stretch of rain, or there is something else going on.
Any input would be appreciated!
