The guy who has started living in the apartment with our elderly tenant is obviously someone else! 

She moved her elderly mother into the apartment sometime after moving in and she is basically an unauthorized tenant. 

After years of looking and multiple failed attempts to purchase a home though traditional/VA financing, I was finally able to convince an elderly neighbor to owner finance his badly neglected 2/1 home to us for $60,000 at 6% over 10 years. 

If you or someone you know lost a house, as the fires are put out, and it's time to rebuild, I know there are many unscrupulous people that try to swoop in and take advantage of those that are still in shock over the loss of their homes and belongings, the elderly, etc.

She's elderly, but said there's no lease, and hasn't seen or been to the property in years, I don't think she's even seeing rent checks.

The primary tenant's elderly mother who lives with her was the one home as she was at work. 

I will be contacting absentee and elderly home owners.
