The 2 upper floor bedroom were huge & we were able to add a 1/2 bath between them but getting a king sized matters up the narrow stairs would be a feat.In one of our multis we also enlarged a couple of bedrooms for that reason & then found everyone seems to want larger living rooms for the huge wrap around couches ???

The ADU is adjacent to the house so as you come down the stairs you pass the front door of the ADU so it would not be possible to put a fence.
