How Bad are Narrow Staircases
Hello, I'm new to the forum. I inspected a house over the weekend and it looks like a good flip, but the stairs are extremely narrow. This is in the Chicago land area and the house is in a good neighborhood. The house needs TLC and perhaps some electrical work, but looks like a cheap fix up. One thing that is may be a negative is how narrow and tiny the stairs are. When going down the stairs, I literally had to slightly shift sideways and duck under this dip in the ceiling. I couldn't imagine someone wanting to deal with literally climbing into their basement, I mean imagine bringing your clothes into the laundry.
Could something like this be a deal-breaker for buyers?
