@Tanner Marsey I remember as a kid reading BMX magazines from Huntington beach and there would be kids on their bikes next to the beach with girls in bikinis next to them, and we were all riding around old residential neighborhoods, LOL (so already jealous of where ya live!)

Maybe rent a house with other young professionals and save up lots of $$$ for a few years.As for developing areas like Mosaic,I see the new Silver line areas having a shot, projected completion I believe is 2020.

The other area that caught my eye was out Central Ave towards the beach.

I currently own a 4 unit building and just had an offer accepted for a duplex in the Long Beach area, but now I am having second thoughts after crunching the numbers. 

I've been investing in the Southside of Hampton roads for 8 yrs now and specifically stay focused on Va Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Norfolk.

I did a 1031 exchange of a duplex in Long Beach, CA to buy 5 units (4 SFR's and a duplex) here just back in May.   

preferably Portsmouth, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.

Currently stationed in VA and living in Virginia Beach.

I know as I personally would rent this stuff out in the beach but if my Airbnb has it then I'm saving money on that extra expense.

The area is Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Pompano Area.
