I think there is a good chance of that happening only because I know the president of the bank very well and they are an aggresive bank.

Even if we have the 10% rent increase this year and the 8.5% rent increase next year as projected, your rents won't even crack $1,800 and you'll be in the whole for years to come.Be Careful of HOA -- Even if the HOA is rental friendly now, all it takes is a change in leadership or a new guy elected to the board with something to prove that completely changes that.

Personally, I feel like its a tricky time with the vast majority of economists predicting economic armageddon if our new president will actually follow through on all his promises.

I like the perspective of @jason hartman who espouses the idea of using debt as a hedge against inflation - especially in the midst of the potentially inflationary new president (personal feelings aside).
