This was just a funny story of what Not to do.  

I am what I would consider a novice investor, as I don't know what 'notes' are or building a network means other than meeting people that help each other reach a goal.

You can learn everything you need to know and all about what not to do in the forums or you can do the smart thing and not even consider wholesaling because you are probably doing it to make money to then invest and that is less than 1% who will succeed at that and most who do have a large budget to the ball rolling.

Part of educating people is telling them what not to do.

However, I'm not sure what the tax implications and whatnot would be for this, as there wouldn't actually be any movement of money.

But now she owes taxes.I think this is where people will start recommending Trusts and what not.
