I work primarily with investor clients in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties.

For most people, the reason for creating an LLC is to provide liability protection although "piercing the LLC veil" by a prosecuting attorney is a whole different discussion altogether.  

However the company still needs to be properly capitalized, which could be in the form of insurance, or the company could conceivable be pierced.

The other risk is that your registered state LLC doesn't meet the legal requirements of the property state, and the whole thing is thrown out when the veil is pierced.
